It all depends on the right disc!
The Jupiter universal grinder attachment, whether for the KitchenAid, SMEG, Kenwood or the Jupiter system drive, is versatile. To help you find the right disc for the desired result, we have put together an overview for you in this article:
A basic rule in advance: the finer the result you want, the smaller the hole in the disc you should choose.
1. Hole disc 2mm
This slice is ideal for the finest dishes such as chicken or vegetable pies, liver dumplings, spinach for the little ones or fine sausage specialties.
2. Hole disc 3mm
The 3mm perforated disc is a real all-rounder. Whether for pea or lentil soup, tartare, ketchup or meatloaf – this perforated disc is always the right choice.
3. Hole disc 4.5mm
This perforated disc makes short work of herring fillets and firm meat, as well as leeks and mushrooms. For this reason, it is ideal for common (sausage) fillings and minced meat.
4. Hole disc 6mm
With this perforated disc you can chop up almost anything. It is therefore ideal for foods that need to be put through the grinder and then quickly used.
5. Hole disc 8mm
You can also use this perforated disc to process firm or stringy meat. It is also ideal for preparing meat so that you can then mince it again using a smaller perforated disc.
6. Hole disc 8mm square
The 8 mm square hole disc together with the 2-blade steel knife creates the bacon cutting set that finely dices bacon in no time.
So that you always have this overview at hand, we have put together a practical overview for you as a PDF.
