What do I need to consider when operating the Thermomaster?
The on/off switch is only used to start or interrupt the program. The power plug must be pulled out to switch the device on and off. Always set the time first, then the temperature and finally the speed.
What should I consider when using the mixing blade?
The mixing blade should only be used at levels 1-3 and is therefore only shown on the display at these speed levels.
What should I consider when making dough?
To avoid overloading the device, you should not use more than 300g flour + other ingredients for dough.
What should I keep in mind when steaming with the Thermomaster?
If you only want to steam, it is best to heat the water for the pot in the kettle beforehand. Make sure that you put at least 1 litre of water, preferably 1.5 litres, in the pot. The previous heating will give you a certain amount of "basic steam". Then set the appliance to around 30 minutes, 130° and level 3, depending on the food you are cooking. If you are preparing a sauce thickened with flour in the pot at the same time, please only add the flour to the liquid at the end.
What can I do if the lid is difficult to open and close?
If the lid is a little harder to open and close at first, you can oil the rubber seal with a little cooking oil.
How can I set temperatures above 37 degrees?
From level 4 onwards, a temperature of only 37 degrees is possible. This is regulated this way for safety reasons. If you want to set higher temperatures, this is only possible at speed levels 1-3.
Is it normal for my Thermomaster to smell at first?
Initially or due to heavy use, the engine may start to give off an odor as it heats up. This odor is completely harmless to health and does not represent a quality defect. The reason for this is that electric motors contain "carbons" and the motor is provided with a lubricant.
My device is overloaded and shows the error message E3 – what can I do?
If the device is overloaded (error message E3), disconnect it from the power supply. After a cooling-down period of approx. 10-15 minutes, it will be ready for use again.
