Around your flake crusher

What foods can I flake with the flake crusher?
Grains: oats, wheat, spelt, green spelt, rye, barley, buckwheat, millet, rice. Dried spices: Coriander, cumin, fennel, anise, black pepper. Oilseeds: Flaxseed.
Tip: Oats and linseed have a naturally higher fat content and therefore produce more beautiful flakes.

How can I disassemble the flake squeezer?
Remove the flake crusher from the drive unit and remove the feed hopper. Loosen the screws and remove the housing. Now you can pull out the knurled roller and remove the wedge. Reassemble in reverse order.

How can I clean the flake crusher properly?
After some time or if the flake crusher is not used for a longer period of time, a thorough cleaning is useful. Disassemble the flake crusher as described. You can clean the housing parts with a damp cloth. Clean the knurling roller and wedge with a dry brush or paintbrush.
Important: Do not immerse housing parts, knurling roller and wedge in water or clean them under running water.

The grain does not run after - what can I do?
If the grit does not run, try to remove the source of interference carefully. Be careful not to press with a hard object (knife or spoon handle) or your finger.
